This policy describes how LINAUTOM ("we") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit this website, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act as amended.
1. Data controller
The controller of the data collected on this site is LINAUTOM, whose full contact details are listed in the legal notice.

2. Data collected and purposes
We only collect data strictly necessary for the following purposes:

Contact form — data collected: name, email, company (optional), phone (optional), subject, message, date and time the message was sent.
Purpose: respond to the user's request.
Legal basis: consent (GDPR checkbox on the form) and/or pre-contractual measures at the user's request (Article 6.1.b GDPR). -
Server connection logs — data automatically collected: IP address, date and time, URL accessed, user-agent.
Purpose: site security, abuse detection, aggregated technical statistics.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6.1.f GDPR). -
User accounts — data collected: last name, first name, email address, password (stored as a cryptographic hash).
Source: accounts are created manually by the site administrator; no public registration is possible.
Purpose: provide authorised users with access to restricted documentation pages (non-public areas of the site).
Legal basis: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Article 6.1.b GDPR).
3. Retention periods
- User accounts: as long as the user retains active access to the site.
- Messages submitted via the contact form: 3 years from the last exchange.
- Connection logs: 12 months maximum (CNIL recommendation).
4. Recipients of the data
Your data is intended exclusively for authorised personnel within LINAUTOM. It may be processed by the following technical sub-processors, strictly within the scope of the purposes above:
- Hosting provider: Infomaniak Network SA – Rue Eugène Marziano 25 – 1227 Les Acacias (GE) (Switzerland). Data is hosted in Switzerland. Infomaniak undertakes to comply with the GDPR and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP).
- Email (SMTP) service provider: LINAUTOM.
No data is transferred, sold or rented to third parties for commercial purposes.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Apart from the hosting mentioned in point 4 (Switzerland), no data is transferred outside the European Union.
6. Cookies
This site only uses cookies strictly necessary for its operation (session, CSRF security). These cookies are exempt from consent in accordance with Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and the CNIL guidelines.
No audience-measurement, advertising or social-network cookies are placed on this site.
7. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction: encrypted communications (HTTPS/TLS), access control, regular backups, security updates.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal data:
- right of access and to obtain a copy;
- right of rectification;
- right to erasure ("right to be forgotten");
- right to restriction of processing;
- right to data portability;
- right to object on legitimate grounds;
- right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand;
- right to give instructions regarding the fate of your data after your death.

9. Complaint to the CNIL

This policy may be updated at any time to reflect changes in our practices or in regulations. The version in force is the one published on this page.
